The Plant Corner is an online retailer specialising in live indoor plants, plant-care products, pots, plant food, plant shine, plant-care treatments, orchid misters, watering cans and other plant-related products and accessories.

We deliver our products nationwide across South Africa.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.

Because live plants are natural, living products, individual plants may naturally vary in:

  • Shape
  • Leaf colour
  • Number of leaves
  • Growth pattern
  • Overall appearance

The appearance of a plant may therefore differ slightly from photographs shown on the website.

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the product supplied corresponds with the description provided on our website.

3. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Because our live plant stock can change, a product displayed on our website may occasionally become unavailable.

If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, arrange an alternative solution or refund in accordance with applicable law.

4. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to correction of any genuine pricing error.

Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed during the checkout process where applicable.

5. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order is only considered accepted once payment has been successfully received and the order has been accepted for fulfilment by The Plant Corner.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable
  • There has been an obvious pricing or product-description error
  • Payment has not been successfully received
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Payment must be successfully completed before an order will be processed and dispatched.

Our online payments are processed through our approved payment provider.

All payment transactions are processed securely through the applicable payment platform. The Plant Corner does not request or require customers to provide their payment card details to us directly outside of the secure checkout process.

7. Delivery

We deliver nationwide across South Africa using The Courier Guy.

Our estimated delivery timeframe is 2–5 business days.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, incorrect delivery information or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

8. Live Plants

The Plant Corner takes care when selecting, preparing and packaging live plants for delivery.

As plants are living products, minor changes may occur during transportation. Customers are encouraged to unpack their plants as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and provide them with appropriate care.

If a plant arrives significantly damaged, customers must contact us and provide the required photographs so that we can assess the condition of the plant and determine the appropriate resolution.

9. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided when placing an order is complete and accurate, including:

  • Delivery address
  • Any other information required to fulfil the order
